School groups

We are delighted to welcome you and your school group!
We have compiled all the important details for you below:

School groups are eligible for a special group rate of €6 per pupil and accompanying adult upon presentation of a school confirmation letter. You will need a letter from the school confirming your status as a school group (preferably in German and bearing a seal and signature). Please show the confirmation at the ticket booth in the SWR TV Tower shop when you purchase your tickets. Our ticket booths accept cash, German EC cards, and credit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot issue invoices, but all the relevant information can be found on the receipt.

Guided school tours (suitable for ages 11 and up)

Round off your trip to the SWR TV Tower with a 60-minute guided tour of the Tower (for a maximum of 35 participants). During the exciting “Overview” tour, schoolchildren first take a look at the SWR TV Tower from the outside, then descend to the foundations and finally ascend to the viewing platform 150 meters above ground level. Along the way, they’ll delve into the history of the construction of this original design for all television towers, discover exciting technical details and hear a few amusing anecdotes about Stuttgart’s most striking landmark.

Requests must be made at least 14 days in advance.
